I learned this cool trick from my friend Val at MOPS. Val said she shreds cooked chicken breast in her KitchenAid mixer with amazing success. I admit I was skeptical, but I decided to give it a try. I looked up directions online and it seemed easy enough.
First I cooked up chicken breast.
Then I put it in the KitchenAid bowl still warm, but not hot. I used the standard mixing paddle.
I mixed it up, watching closely, and Voila! It really did work amazingly! I just turned it off when it looked about right.
